Mr. Brabant obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1990. Since that time, Mr. Brabant has practiced extensively in the area of Aboriginal Law, Employment Law, Corporate/Commercial Law and Civil Litigation. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Brabant has been involved in the writing and publishing of articles and papers in the areas of Aboriginal Law, land entitlement and legal aspects associated with the development of on Reserve businesses, business operations and regulatory development.

Mr. Brabant is a past executive member of the National Aboriginal Law Section and past Chair of the Saskatchewan Branch of the Aboriginal Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Mr. Brabant has also served as a Board Member of the Regina Chamber of Commerce and the Saskatchewan Indian Equity Foundation
